Each morning began in the charming breakfast room, where the warm and attentive service from the staff set a pleasant tone for the day. The breakfast selection was impressive, ranging from freshly prepared boiled eggs to crispy bacon, all tailored to individual preferences. After fueling up, I utilized the hotel as a base for exploring Bruges, with the train station a mere five-minute walk away. The location is also a dream for summer visitors, offering easy access to the beach. The dining experience at Restaurant Le Syrtaki was noteworthy, offering a delightful ambience and a variety of Mediterranean cuisine. While the hotel may not boast modern aesthetics, it certainly holds potential for those who appreciate history and character. For travelers seeking both comfort and culinary experiences, Malecot is a commendable choice.
